Its nothing to worry about I get it in my right eye have done for years. Seen optician about it and its just little particles behind the lens. Annoying though as sometimes it looks like little flies bobbing about |

Any floaters or flashing lights should be checked out by your optometrist. Most of the time they are nothing serious but can be signs of problems that need urgent attention.
In the meantime, if you get what appears to be a curtain across your field of vision or any loss of vision then go straight to eye casualty. This can be a symptom if retinal detachment |

If you haven't noticed them before, you need to get it checked out ASAP. Floaters come in all shapes and sizes and don't usually appear in one eye.
Ps not all diabetics get floaters, just as not all will go blind, loose a limb or two and need dialysis. Constant high or uncontrolled blood sugar levels do that and not all diabetics have high BSL. |

I've had these for years now! I try to flick them up and watch them float back down! . Lately though, i've been getting a really bright light in the corner of my left eye. Like someones flashing a torch at my side! Sounds weird eh! |

Second time in a couple of days people asked about their eyes or Visio. Do you lot not have regular eye check ups. What they find can not only save your eyesight but also find out so much more like high blood pressure to name but one. I go and fall off my soap box now.
For those that have a smartphone look for vision sim app let u see what life's like with visual impairment |

i would definately get that checked out as it could indicate problems with your retina.
My grandad's retina started to detach and they said if it went past a certain point then he would have lost his sight completely |

GET IT CHECKED OUT. I have lost 50% of the sight in one eye due to a degenerative macular condition. It will never come back. Your sight is precious and my experience was terrifying.
TO EVERYONE pay that tenner at the opticians to have a photo taken off your retinas. They were able to email the pics to the hospital which shows a before and after of my condition and pin point the affected area it really helped the hospital diagnose it. Xx |
