How much sleep do yuy need to feel refreshed and raring to go?
I sleep on average 5 hours a night( or day, depending on shifts) I've gone 3 hours a night for 2 weeks but found I couldn't cope. |

Until the last few weeks I slept for no more than 2 hours at a time without waking...shocking sleeper. I would lie awake for an hour or so before falling back to sleep. I have done that for over 20 years.
For some reason last few weeks I am sleeping 8 hrs solid and waking up wonderfully refreshed.... |

I got used to very little sleep when the lads were babies i lived off about 3 or 4 broken hours sleep...one had a lot of problems and never slept for longer than an hour till he was 9 months old.
And then i worked nights so used to sleep when the kids were in school about 10am to about 2 pm did this for years,my sleep pattern is crazy, some night i can go off about an hour then im shattered and snappy its getting better now tho as i don't really do nights anymore |

When my eldest was born he had 2 full nights sleep In 3 years, my ex was an emotional wreck and I was the one sitting with him most of the night or sleeping on the bedroom floor Incase he woke up in the night screaming, all that and doing a full time job.... Good job I never liked my sleep much lol |

5-6 hours for me, even at weekends, can't lie in bed and do nothing.
Off on holiday in a week and love the fact that I can catch sunrises, make a brew and sit on the balcony all peacefull and if necessary get over the hangover lol |

My sleep is pretty awful at the mo
Usually go straight off to sleep and then wake about 2 hours later.
The rest of the night is then spent turning, moving pillows about, trying to get comfy til I eventually get fed up and go climb on the sofa
