How good are you in the kitchen? Do you like to cook for others? Do you like to whip up a veritable feast of delightful delicacies?

Or are you ping ping and done kinda person?

I love cooking, I cook well. However by 8.20 when I'm in from work I'm done and its quick and easy for me. When I do cook for others its a full 3 course meal!

I like cooking (Mr J) but hate following recipes and the results can range from interesting to inedible .

Also tend to set things on fire or they explode .

Love cooking, I like to prep everything first, then relax for a while before stage 2, (this usually involves panicking), ok panic over, puts AC/DC on and proceeds to conjour up the tastiest Moussaka/Lasagne/Beef Buffad/Shepherds Pie you have ever experienced

Failing that, I'll just have a Pot Noodle

Manchester Area

I'm a good, inventive cook and was once offered the chance to open my own restaurant. But the type of placce I envisaged would not have worked in the area I was looking at.

My most adventurous meal was a nine course meal for 8 people with wines etc for 8 of the courses

Me and my 1st ex hubby had our own Restaurant and I had 2 years college training to become a chef. Cooking up to 60/70 meals in a session i hated it. But it's just me and my family now and cooking is still a chore. But saying that when i do turn something out it is with perfection. When i go to Big Teds on my weekend off he does the cooking and very good he is as well

I would describe myself as being relatively proficient in the kitchen…..

But living alone, I tend to do quite a lot of batch cooking, which I freeze for later, rather than preparing meals from scratch every-day…

I never buy ready meals and everything I cook comes in nature’s wrappers rather than using pre-prepared ingredients …

I did the SS Waitressing as well, you don't often see it done in Restaurants anymore which i thick is such a shame, it's plate service now, but then i suppose it's quicker and a lot less washing up

I don't like cooking, I find it really boring. I can cook and I won't have microwave or ready meals, but to me it's just an essential thing to survive rather than getting any enjoyment out of it.

My cooking is fairly traditional, roasts and meat, potato, fish and veg, I wouldn't attempt making a curry and I wouldn't cook with garlic or strong spices. If I want to treat others then I'd rather go to a restaurant than make myself. But I can do well when I put my mind to it, christmas etc I always cook

I love cooking.

I do 99.9% of all the cooking & I even wash up, clean up & put everything away.

Mrs loves my cooking & 2 of our friends recently told me that the simple supper I created for them was better than any meal they have had in an Italian restaurant

So come on guys, get Gino's pasta book & Richard Corrigan's Cookery School book & get your aprons on & get cooking.

Also found some good cookery apps for me iPhone
