My favourite belt held up its last pair of work shorts yesterday.

Was nothing fancy, just a plain leather belt.

It got me thinking as to when I actually purchased it and was shocked to realise I’d been the proud owner of it for nigh on 24 years.

I do own other belts, but always went with my favourite.

So my question is….. do you have a favourite item in your wardrobe, how long have you owned it and would you be sad when it passes

I do realise this may be the dullest post ever

I've got trainers ( track shoes ) that have seen better days and been repaired more than once. They fit me like a glove.

Bags....... my bags look like Victoria carried them .... as in Queen not Beckham

I have a pair of boots that are 22 years old. Heels and soles have been done but still going strong.

I've got a pair of original Nike Cortez trainers which I've worn to death. Had them 20+ years, the soles have holes, there's scuff marks all over them, and the laces are on their last legs. Will I chuck them out? No way, still the most comfortable trainers I own 🤗.

Do you have a favourite bag?

Sentimentally yes, but not every day wear.

A leather jacket. It's probably coming up for 20 years old.

My dad is almost 98 and has the belt he's been wearing since he was in his 20s. It fits him still.
