Rise of the foot soldier, everything about this film should disgust my liberal sensibilities. It’s got non of the panache of a Godfather film (even Godfather 3), Goodfellas or even the Long Good Friday, but if it’s on I quite enjoy it.

Maybe it’s actually really good storytelling or just occasionally I want to turn off my brain.

It's a great movie. I love how it pays homage to Badlands, the script the acting.

Some of the scenes in it are just masterpieces. Most really.

It's funny, harrowing and a great story.
