Stripper pubs.
Older folks like me remember them.
Exotic dancers at lunchtime.
Went to one in Hayes, Middx at the weekend..pound in the glass...venue could do with a lick of paint...but ok.
Don't like the so called Gentleman's Clubs newer style versions.
Anyone been to a good old strip pub that are still open?
Seem to be a rare find these days. |

You talking about the one in west Drayton by the railway bridge?
I remember going one lunchtime I was skint drinking orange juice all my workmates boozing, stripper came out done her thing pint glass went round for the pounds to go in, I didn't have a pound.
She stopped at me shaking the glass, promptly went nuts and started screaming at me for not putting in a squid.
Thankfully one of my colleagues came to my rescue otherwise I'm not sure how it would have ended up |

I remember a pub in Watford in the early 90s. Lunchtime on a Friday. Strippers and a pie.
The ladies would come out of the toilet, get their kit off in the middle of the pub surrounded by leering men. They would roll around on the dirty floor get fag butts stuck to their bums (smoking was still allowed then) then walk around afterwards with a pint pot to get paid.
Oh the good old days!! |

I remember a very dodgy pub in Soho in the 90s when I had just started working - turned out it was basically a knocking shop but I didn’t know that at the time.
Old bloke, straight out of east end casting circa 1960, comes round with a hat to take “donations” for the lady onstage and one of the guys I was with made a very derogatory comment about her age (which to be fair was not reasonable). Turns out she was the “donation” blokes wife - it didn’t end well for my work colleague |

There was the 10 Bells in the late 90s in Whitechapel which was where one of Jack the Rippers last victim was.
Brown’s in Shoreditch and The Griffin in Farringdon was another that comes to mind - as a young apprentice in construction I was dragged to one or two of these |

Massively Taken into a room and then once they had done him over they threw him out the back.
We decided that she was actually the best act we had seen all night and proceeded to empty all our wallets into the jar. I have never left a pub so quickly in my life! |

Perhaps the best stripper you could ever hope to see . It's good that you supported her handsomely and escaped |

I remember going into a pub in a very quiet street in Dulwich,in the middle of a row of houses.
Walked in public bar women children families enjoying a Sunday lunch, curtain separating them into saloon bar full of guy's surroundings and woman rolling around the floor fingering herself.
Very odd, still had to watch |

Burke and Hare and the western bar on the top end of the grassmarket in Edinburgh used to be £1 in a pint glass...
Only other time I've witnessed similar was the Manchester in Blackpool..
On a similar note, but far better... The reeperbahn in Hamburg had some good places, pay on the door to enter the club then a frequent stage show or you could pay for "extras" in the backrooms. Also had a good night out in Globo Rojo in palma de mallorca... Again pay to get in, naked girls everywhere with rooms with beds available if you want a bit (or a lot) more..
All the UK seems to offer now is lap dances where you sit on your hands and hand over £20 |

The Flying Scotsman was the one I went to, that was King's Cross. Pub's now called Scottish Stores and is apparently classier. |

Went on a stag weekend to exotic Whitley bay the first pub we went in around 12 moon had music thumping and a naked girl on stage showing us all what she had for breakfast! Couldn't believe it was a public house and so early.
Another occasion my rugby club end of season do had 3 strippers. After their usual routine the pint glass went round and all 3 of them got fucked by a number of guys on the stage. Good times. |
