How long till your first Fab meet?

we’ve been on Fab for almost a year now chatted with loads of people, but haven’t actually met anyone yet. We’re definitely up for meet-ups and open to exploring, but being new to this whole scene, it feels like finding someone you actually click and is non-pushy with it is harder than expected. Just curious, how long did it take you guys to go from chatting to actually meeting someone in real life? |

From joining the site 1st few weeks, but both of our lives were pretty busy to meet but each day kept chatting until available which was in 6 months but we were focused on us and I didn't open any other new messages |

Patients is a virtue op... How long don't matter. It's who with, that does! You have to be comfortable in order to have fun and enjoy yourselves.😁
It will happen and when it does it will be pleasurable due to you taking your time to discover yourselves as well as others👍 |

When I first joined I wasn't hugely comfortable and it took me about a month before I met anyone. And in the end my first meet was with someone I knew before I joined fab and reconnected on here ❤️ but once I met the first person it felt easier.
Now going from chatting to meeting goes anything between a day and several weeks depending on circumstances. |

I was here for about a year before I felt comfortable with meeting, then I lunged in and arranged a social with someone I met on a thread. From there it was a few more meets and a club visit for a social event.
Patience and boundaries definitely help; I’m sure you’ll get that first meet with the right person before long.  |

Started chatting and met after 5wks, still going strong after 3mths... If you click with someone, click.

6 Months for me to actually meet someone .. had 4 meets blowout prior to that..
As others say, Finding someone You click with, have something in common and have mutual interests/aims, it's bloody tricky! But it does happen.. Just keep looking and chatting and it'll happen when it happens..
Maybe an Organised Social might help as well?? |

First meet was arranged quite quickly, maybe a couple of weeks after I joined but we were both swingle so only had ourselves to please and he fortuitously happened to be in the area just a couple of days after we started chatting. That was 3.5 years ago.
Around that time I also started chatting to someone very local who fitted what I wanted and vice versa but we didn’t meet face to face for 18 months as schedules didn’t allow. However that time delay built a solid friendship and we’ve been able to meet often since then and recently noted our two year anniversary of having met face to face.
For couples meeting couples it must be very difficult and others have said and many more will say, perhaps try going to a club event and local group socials to get a feel for the scene round this area. |

We find it hard to connect on here, so prefer to get out there and meet others. We have a strict no play on the first date, which we always make totally clear before arranging a meet, but we soon know if we want to play or not!
Get out there and meet some people you find attractive. Talking online is super hard work! |

first joined in 2013 , was much easier for a single guy back then.
I remember it well, I joined quite early in the morning and had a couple of messages..
Got in to convo with 1 and was local, I got invited over for a social that afternoon which lead to some mind blowing action on the sofa..
I've got a couple of mates on here, 1 hasn't had their 1st meet yet and they've been on here a year now... |

On my couple's profile we actually met people in clubs before joining fab. We kept being asked outr fab name so thought we'd better join. And two and a bit years later we've still not met anyone entirely through fab. It's been through using fab to find social events and club nights. If you're using fab messaging as your only way to meet people you're playing in hard mode. |

Been here little over 4 months and I've yet to meet anyone. Haven't put in too much effort though. Had a cold through February and most of March and been selective about who I messaged so far, so it's not surprising. |

As a couple on the old profile it took about 8 months but we took it slow. We're very laid back.
As a single guy pre-covid, I met 4 women all in the first 6 weeks but due to a complete nut job that turned up at my work, I left.
First 2 times as a single guy on here previous to that, I met no one. So just take it as it comes. I just chat these days and bump into people for coffee mostly, no pressures. |
