I haven’t seen who’s in it yet but I recently watched a celeb show that had a ‘content creator’ & a ‘reality tv star’. I know I’m getting old but I just don’t know these people or why they’re classed as a celebrity |

I don't know who many of them are and I think it is an age think (although I probably have years on you). Content creators and influencers are way out of my frame of reference and usually aren't producing anything I'm interested so I have no idea who they are. Their celebrity I think comes from their popularity and fame among the people they aim their stuff at and they're usually young.
When they announce the contestants in these type of shows I often only know half of them. |

Yes, that First Dates episode was good, uncomfortable viewing . It's probably in the memories of a couple of contestants. But his 'natural' hair will be very visible. I was thinking more of his head being au naturel, as I don't think I could stomach his body on show.

I am just catching up with it due to work commitments earlier in the week and being unable to watch it live.
Just two people I’d never heard of who are Donna and Ella. All the others I know of and quite like the idea of them being housemates. I think it’s an interesting mix!
It’s weird to see throw back stuff relating to Mickey, I’d forgotten what he looked like before all the surgery!
Just watching the choice of power podium now. He’s giving me Rocky (Sly Stallone) vibes. |

My way it’s weird how sometimes you just don’t ever collide with someone or something in general life and then you see them once in something or read about them and then they are your favourite person in that medium. She seems great so far but hasn’t had much screen time so far imo.

I would have preferred for her to be up first.
I took to Jo Jo right away but now feel I am seeing through her sugary sweet exterior .......

I believe Mickey is the better person in there. Could be an age thing but most of the others seem quite lacking in understanding. They seem to hav..e all the right moves and sounds.... like awwwwwwwww n oh babe c'mere and giving hugs.. but actually understanding they don't seem to have mastered yet, apart from Donna.
JoJo makes me cringe now. She seems very manufactured. A one trick desperado. She dances...... and very clumsily 90's style ( yes I would like to be able to ) I feel sorry for her.

Hearing Angelica speak about her career was moving. I’m enjoying seeing Chris interacting with people in this as I think he’s very much changed from his love island days (I haven’t seen anything else he’s been in.) Loved Billy! Poor Patsy. I suspect she’s missing her family. |

Yeah they get paid..... I believe.... but not if they quit. Which is why I feel that he had to work at getting evicted. Mind you he is up front and mealy mouthed as well as having a great heart. ( I wouldn't want to be his partner )
He has already been worth every penny. It's his controversy that has people talking. |

Well! I just read on a 'reliable' source that Ella was on Towie and had a screaming match ( part of prog obvs babes) and called her mate a SLaaaaaag and threw a glass at her ....
Methinks I should remember she is an actress and Mickey was sacrificed on the altar ....
I also do think there is ageism involved. Sure I have a bias but I see ageism in the situation. The kind of t hing men say on here. If a woman fancies you , you can say what you like, if she doesn't ...... you'll be accused of all kinds.

I haven't watched a single episode of any reality show since the very first series of BB.
I watched it then because it was new and different but I really didn't get the appeal when that first season finished and every time I see a new lineup for these type of shows I honestly haven't a clue who most of them are so I question the use of the word celebrity.
Then I realise that my definition of celebrity is probably very different from others.
Years ago an old careers teacher told me he retired at the right time just as his students stopped saying they wanted to be a fireman or a doctor or chef and instead said they wanted to be famous. |

Well looks like there's a lot of people not happy across social media platforms with how ITV dealt things with Mickey. And how Tricia with her comment of there's a rat in the house actually started it with Chris saying something and staring at Mickey! Also seems to be general feeling jojo dressing up as a newbie and the other housemates was taking the piss out of him because of his age and mind not being the quickest. |
