Mass message deletion…

Just saw a Lady announce on her status update that she has completed a Mass message deletion as she’s bombarded….
Wish I had the same problem 😆
But another reminder of the imbalance of genders on Fabs… it’s a Sausage Fest as another lady commented…. Lots of profiles start “No solo males” and pleas for No Cock pics……
Gives an image of an army of Horned up Orcs all pounding at Ladies / Couples profiles
Shame for everyone it’s not a bit more balanced and chilled……
Thoughts? Agree/Disagree? |

As long as the process to set up a completely anonymous account is so easy it isn't going to change.
Fab puts the onus of defending against the onslaught of zombie accounts on the user by providing a few filter's.
I don't understand why women feel the need to announce how many messages they have and when they are deleting them.

I agree. It can be very easy to think that the message you sent was deleted in the mass deletion before being read (very likely) and you should message again. Almost fallen into that trap myself. |

I am not going to pay any extra for a website that served its purpose perfectly for me.
As to limit the amounts of single men- who gets to choose who stays and who goes? Who is “worthy” enough?
The automatic deactivation of inactive accounts would be interesting.
As some ladies have stated, if a female uses her filters a delige of messages will not be a problem. I think the status update attained its purpose- attention seeking. Which is valid on here. |

I can’t validate the numbers but it’s fairly obvious from reading any non-Solo Male that the majority of these are throwing out a list of warnings/rules that they’re not interested in solos guys… odd power dynamic and not enticing to contact any profile with a long list of red lines they won’t tolerate…
Perhaps to option is for the Fabs site to put a max ratio of men to women / couples etc…. Also actively delete inactive accounts of 3 months+ so it’s not a finite number but it’s a ratio ie the water line goes up with both as the numbers grow…. plus possibly limit accounts to x1 mobile phone number to reduce multi accounts and fake accounts too…
.
Maybe do a poll amongst members would they be prepared to pay an extra 10% or so to cover the cost of streamlining and securing its integrity of actual swingers and make it a better more fun and chilled space for everyone…. Maybe a small regular fee for all users as opposed to free accounts will also out multi / fake accounts..
Just my observation as a relative newbie here…. |

My thought is that many will message any woman in a scattergun approach hoping one might get read, often without reading a profile to check if they're the least bit compatible.
I also think some don't help themselves by effective use of message filters and the block button. The site has useful tools to minimise a burgeoning inbox and if used it would reduce the issue for all concerned.
Sometimes people just don't help themselves. 🤷♂️ |

Hard to disagree and you’re a longer member than I am but good to consider and debate some options on improvements
Relatively new but I have been cat fished by fake accounts which seemed genuine but discovered they’re false.. undermines trust in the profile authenticity and rather just accept that the site is flooded with fake profiles maybe a couple of enhancements including existing filters may improve it even more.. |

I've always found the easiest way to determine if someone is a real live person is to either talk to them on the phone, have a video call, or just meet socially for a coffee.
I'd never arrange anything just of the back of a couple of messages.
To me it's no different to buying a car or a house. Might look great in the words and pictures in an advert but I'm sure as hell going to want to see it in real life before there's any serious interest invested. And I've seen no end of fake car ads over the years.
If people rely purely on words on a screen then to me they're setting themselves up to fail. But then some let the horn control their brain, lose any sense of realism and logic and assume that just because someone says something will happen that it will.
I've never met a fake person. Nor have I continued chat with anyone if there's enough red flags or suspicion to make me think they're anything but 100% genuine. I don't rush to meet. The longer a conversation goes on, the more likely it is that anyone who's not who they claim to be will get bored and move on to someone else.
As I said before. People can do a lot to help themselves. If they choose to. 🤷♂️ |

Fair enough and fair advice… finding my feet with the dynamics of it to be honest.. the case I’m referencing claimed to be a female locally, went into huge level of detail about her job, the local area even school her kid was in…. It wasn’t a horned up chat but genuinely friendly… didn’t see the need to ask for a call as there were no red flags….and from the info she shared she was obviously local..
However when she sent on pics they seemed odd not sure why and I out them through tin eye and sourced from a Russian site…. A lot of effort and waste of time and alarming too… but lesson learned… can only assume it may have been a bloke getting little traction and getting a kick off conversing…..
That’s a side issue… for me it’s balancing the ratio and validating entry at profile opening stage |

I never quite understood the point of a status like that as so many of them also say if I missed your message, message me again. If they’re already managing their inbox that badly asking people to resend isn’t going to help. |

A) women can use filters if and when their messages get too much
B ) women would use filters if and when their messages get too much but then how would they know (and announce to fab) how popular they are?
C) unfortunately for some men, it doesn't really matter on the number imbalance, they still wouldn't get any. |
