What's the name of that app that searches for photos on the internet and where they've been used before, because I'm certain I've seen that pic several hundred times before...
Aah yes, tineye, that's it. Be right back... |

My one and only tattoo is of my own design, a snake (I was born in the year of a snake), wearing a pearl necklace, wrapped around a deep pink rose.
Got it done back in Dec 09 while I was camping near a seaside town, took a walk one day in the town where there was a number of tattoo shops, and decided to have one done.
It is on my right bum cheek, and I thought my bum was sufficiently saggy by that time (I was nearly 45) not to distort the tattoo for a good few years to come.
Shan't have another one as it hurt too much.

My avatar is my tattoo.... I love this one as it is a constant reminder of my kids, eldest living with his mum, next one down shining bright from the heavens and the bottom two with me at home now |

I have two. I have a cross with Be Just Fear Not (its from the headstone on rocky horror picture show. I love it as I live my life that way, if i'm nice to others I've nothing to fear.... supposedly lol)
The other is a celtic star with my daughters name on it, I am adding my other 3 children's names to it soon, with a little star next to my son's name as he shines down on me from the stars. |

I think everyone is different on it. Mine have very personal meaning to me. I couldn't have them otherwise. I needed there meaning to be as strong in 40 years as they are now. For me, mine are markers for important things in this journey we call life. And then, sometimes, I just appreciate good artwork......... |

My favourite is currently my Brandon Lee as The Crow portrait on my right leg. The work and detail is amazing.
All of mine have a personal meaning, I had them done to represent certain stages etc in my life. |

"My Black Heart
And the Chinese symbol on my side that means Hope. Had it done the traditional way with a needle on the end of a stick. "
Where did you get the traditional one done?
Trying to find a traditional Maori tattooist and it's proving rather difficult, maybe I can try searching a different way. |

I had it done at the Manchester International Tattoo Convention last year. I've got a few mates in the tat world so I'll see if I can find one for you. |

The one for my dad. Its his name in a shield with his dates. Inside the shield are 4 leaves on 2 branches, one for my mum, dad brother and me. The shield is because he's protecting me still. |
