I think it would depend why you wanted her to wear one and the way that you asked.

Wouldnt she think you dont fancy her because she has short hair? Ive got long hair, wouldnt like it if a guy asked me to wear a short wig. If you like longhaired women, why not look for one then? Just being honest

It depends. If I was just meeting you from here I'd be insulted, if a long term partner asked as part of a fantasy I'd see it as no different to them asking me to wear a corset or some other lingerie, the problem would arise if they wanted it to be a permanent thing.
