I watched a video from primal england, here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mT0xRMfW1uk do you also follow him? I like his videos, he talks about everything as he goes on his walks in the wild and in this episode he talked about how people are worrying about things.
He mentioned things like all the bills one have to pay like, road tax, insurance of the car which you cant really do anything about and it shouldnt be a surprise, as it is a regular thing that comes up every month, he added that it is the small little things that builds up that are in back of your mind, he concluded by saying that he isnt a worrier himself, but dismises things.
That got me thinking after watching it, are you a worrier, what do you worry about? I would say that I worry about different things, but it doesnt take over my life.
I would say that the main thing that I worry about is if I am starting to lack the discipline to achieve the goals that I have, like in fitness. I do my best to stay on track with that too |

I have pretty bad anxiety. I worry about everything! I worry about how I look, how people see me (physically), what I need to do, job security, feeling good enough etc. |

Some people find it annoying that I'm so laid back because I don't seem to worry about anything.
Even when I fuck something up because I was acting like a dick I'm not too worried because I know I'll do something more stupid the next day to make this seem trivial.
In regards to bills, unexpected expenses etc I know I'm able to severely budget to get it sorted so no need to stress.
Stressing doesn't solve anything so why get stressed, everything will be fine after a nap and a bar of chocolate
I am a very optimistic, glass half-full person |

I have anxiety. If unmedicated I worry and stress about everything to crippling levels and it’s like constantly being on edge. Extremely stressful and misery inducing.
My medication is the best thing that has ever happened to me. |

...the contradictive irony to my comment above, is I can REALLY relate to this too! |

I'm have been a worrier, and over thinker. After recently having severe anxiety for the first time and realising how debilitating that can be and how sick it made me I've taken up meditation. This helps me deal with any worries and thoughts that become too much and really helps to calm me so I don't get into that place again.
It's important to put things into perspective but if something is important to you it's natural to think about it. Worrying may be unnecessary. Put a plan into place to get to a go to avoid the worry. ❣️ |

"Yes im a worrier, i wish i didnt as sometimes it makes me stress and feel sick but just feel its part of who i am and cant do anything about it."
Same, I'm a terrible overthinker & suffer with anxiety too 🫤 never helpful on a site like this! 🙄 |

I’m not a worrier. I don’t suffer with anxiety, and I’ve never had a panic attack. The only things that concern me are so big I have no control over them - it’s the lack of control that makes me concerned, not having influence over an outcome that might affect me is something that bothers me - and while I do spend a little time fretting, I don’t lose any sleep. |

"I’m a massive worrier.
Especially with all the madness in the works at the moment. I’m stocking up on cans incase there’s a warx"
...cans of what though?! As a worrier, I find it's 'worms' I'm always opening that I didn't want to! |

I don’t tend to worry about anything I can’t control. Most powerful thing I realised was to stop worrying about what other people think of you because they aren’t. They are too worried about what they think other people are thinking of them. Makes life so much easier. |

I’m not a visible worrier, but yes I do, why, god knows, I don’t or shouldn’t have a great deal to mither about .. I just think it’s in our genes.. or is it because we have a conscience? God knows ! It’s a pretty deep subject matter |

I worry and overthink about everything. I'm a catastrophiser. I play out worst case scenarios in my head every time I have to do something. Worst case almost never happens but I can't stop my brain from doing it. I am trying to be better tho. But unfortunately I think I am an eternal pessimist |

No, I wouldn't say I am. I think I have normal levels of worry, about certain things like most people. But I'm increasingly better at remembering that certain things will be unimportant in a few months so what's the point of giving it too much headspace? I can't control things. Change them to suit me exactly.
I might as well enjoy myself when I can, accept that sometimes things aren't so great and I can sit with those feelings at that time and try and be more mindful. |

Honestly I can’t explain how real this is for me. When I’m not on my medication for whatever reason I am literally buried under a mountain of anxiety, my brain doesn’t stop. It doesn’t exactly stop now but it’s so much quieter than without. |

Generally no.
It's not really an optimism though. I've just had enough things happen that I've had no control over to know - shit happens.
If I'm still alive and kicking come the after then that's about as good as it gets. Hell maybe it's not, maybe death is a blessing and we've all been avoiding it for some creators mere entertainment value.
I'll drink to that.

Just normal, rational worries I think. I've studied a lot of stoic and tao philosophy which definitely helped me put life in better perspective.
It's heartbreaking to see young people in particular crippled by anxiety when they could be embracing the world and its many wonders. |

I am a fairly specific worrier.
Some of the stuff on here I can't relate to (while everyone likes to be liked I don't think I spend any emotional energy worrying what people I don't know think of me, for example), but the stuff I worry about I really obsess over.
I have imposter syndrome and it makes me worry a lot about work. I'm pretty open with my bosses about it, because I need them to communicate very explicitly with me. If they ping me to say "I need to speak to you" then I immediately think they've realised that I'm incompetent and I'm about to be fired and at any minute there will be a knock on my door demanding my laptop and phone back. It genuinely knocks me a bit sick trying to think what I've done wrong.
Changing it to "I need an update on X project" or "I need to go through X report with you" avoids that meltdown.
Weirdly I don't worry about losing my job (I've been a hair's breadth from quitting the entire time I've worked here), it's the being found out and unmasked as a dickhead that bothers me.
I'm lucky that I don't need to worry about financials, but if a warning light flashes in my car I panic and get shaky. It's been known to make me cry and I've once vomited because I've been so panicked. If I had to write it off I could buy a new one tomorrow - there's no need to worry as much as I do. |

Oooh, yes!! Up until this year, my anxiety and depression was so bad, I would only leave the house to do the school run. There'd be the odd gig here and there, sure.
I'm still on meds for my anxiety symptoms but, no antidepressants because I feel more well than I have in, probably ever, right now. |

"Not really. I like to make practical plans and then get on with them. In the meantime, the only thing to do is to manage it and put it out of your mind, as fully as possible. It's great to let go " That is good you like to make practical plans and then get on with them too |

You can worry about the future, but that future hasn't happened yet. This is A
.
You can worry about the past, but that past has come and gone. This is B
.
You can worry about the now, but that present is still evolving. This is C.
You can change A (The Future)
You can't change B (The Past)
You can change C (The Present)
Worry always comes from one of 3 places. It can sometimes be more than 1, but 1 will be the most significant.
Fear
Uncertainty
Doubt
Ask yourself "Why" you worry about "that thing" and identify the paramount reason.
Good work if you can, as you've just nailed a target to focus deeper on. That's forward momentum and progress. We are rarely as powerless as we think we are.
At this stage, you might need more professional help, but you're on the right path already.
Best wishes to those who are unsettled.
Balance will come in time. |

I'm not a worrier at all. I see it as wasted energy. If you can do something about a problem then do it. If that doesn't work, at least you gave it your best. If it's something out of your control then what's the point worrying?
I was married to a worrier. It was exhausting. |
