The Lady Boys of Bangkok are making their annual visit to the Brighton Festival (arts) at the moment.
Never been to see this show but have been to Bangkok and hadn't realised I was being propositioned by a ladyboy in a bar until it was pointed out by the bartender.

I have seen the Lady boys both in Thailand and the Philippines and chatted to many of them, never went there though!
All I can say is that what beautiful people they were and not just in looks.
They still get the same kind of shit from a lot of the locals though  just the same as anyone who is seen as different.
Some of the Thai men treat them as something to be ridiculed and mauled when they are d*unk.
Still a long way to go from a tolerant society no matter what country you live in.
