I read something years ago about this guy in America who used sound to lift things, also would like to know what was behind the 1972 'Son of Sam' murders in New York, would like to know what happened to Glenn Miller, Area 51 as above, and also how crystal skulls were made and stuff. Loads of things actually. |

Why prices have to end with 99p, it feels like a conspiracy with the amount of pennys i have lol.
They would boost the economy ten fold,if they raised prices to I.E £1.01 and let us get rid of them |

Minimum lethal doses were tested on animals then expanded for human size. An MLD is also classified for a non-drug user of an average weight. Cobain took what for a non-user would probably cause cardiac arrest in 3 mins, but for him and his excessively high intake, about 10-15 mins. Plenty of time to stick a gun in your gob and pull the trigger. |

"Why poorly written conspiracy theory books become best sellers.
Dan Brown, Im looking at you!" Interesting this conspiarcy thing. I would love to know what really went on with 9/11 but I dont believe there was a conspiracy.
And even if there was... there is too much of life to be lived in my own environment to be worried about distant conspiracy theories that would keep me up all night.
There is only one thing that I want to keep me up all night..... |

On the conspiracy theorist front, I used to work with a guy who had read up and researched all sort of theories, including the Masons, the Russians' ability to control the weather during the Cold War and the fact that the aliens sold micro-chip technology to the Japanese when the Americans turned down their offer. Thank goodness he could cook or we'd have sacked him........ |

Someone mentioned Glenn Miller. We know to within a fair degree of certainty what happened him. His pilot appears to have flown through a zone that was strictly forbidden as it was used by bombers for jettisoning bombs before landing. A tail gunner on a plane that was part of an aborted bombing mission reported seeing a small Canadian plane flying underneath him as they jettisoned their bombs, and said he saw it explode and crash in the sea. Because the mission had been aborted, the crews were not debriefed on landing, and within a few hours they were back in the air again. It was only years later that he realised that Miller and his pilot were flying in a Canadian Air Force plane. He belatedly reported the incident but was never believed, as they figured he couldn't have recognised that it was a Canadian make of plane. It turned out that he had spent some of his training time in a Canadian air base, so it appears he was telling the truth and it is now accepted as being correct. Ok, that's a bit too serious. Apologies. |

The problem lies in Russia never making it to the moon after apollo 11, and the fact the yanks may well have landed one of the later Apollo missions. I'll see if I can find the name of the doco, if you have a decent grasp of physics you may question it too |

Not that it's proper science but the mythbusters did a very good job showing how the shadows etc were made by just one light source, ie the sun.
The best proof however, are the retro reflectors that were left on the surface by the Apollo astronauts and that are frequently used by many institutions all over the planet who fire lasers off them in order to measure the distance from earth to the moon. |

I'd like to know if my theories on the universe would hold up with scientific views..as I'm utterly lazy(with mathematics) I just like to project my thoughts and have others validate them as possiblities:
I believe time travel was possible in the far future and is needed to propagate a self sustaining universe bubble that contracts and deflates while coersing itself monogeously without its inhabitants having a viewpoint that exceeds dimensional time or lineage to the encounter of past and proven existences, and indeed without much need for palpatisms |

no mystery its selfishness...and also hope..the planet is a resource really..once we find somewhere else thats useful we can move to it and carry on doing what we do.. we arent that much different from a cancer I think...whether we are 'right' to exist is irrelevant because, well..we do. |

Maybe the retro reflectors were sent there on a unmanned mission?

Yes, the Americans did get beaten to many of the firsts in the space race by the Russians but as it has already been said, there was so much scrutiny by both sides on what the other was doing that if any of it was faked, the other side would have noticed.
With regards to the Apollo 11 mission, NASA would still have had to send up a rocket and fly a craft to the moon AND film an elaborate hoax film (incidentally, don't you think if it was a hoax they would have fixed all the so-called lighting issues etc) AND broadcast that film from the moon at the appropriate time AND bring back the spacecraft to earth. It would have cost twice as much as doing it for real and would be just as difficult. |

"The mary celeste would be an interesting one
sorry if its been mentioned"
If I remember correctly it was carrying a combustible cargo, and it is thought that when the crew found vapors in the hold they open the hatchets to vent them and evacuated the ship, got into the lifeboat tethered to the Marie Celest, but the rope broke during a storm. And the ship sailed away into history.

Who in the west would believe what the Russians said during the Cold War and vice versa.
As for the lighting, well that's what I do for work so I know full well that back then lighting techniques were way more limited in terms of equipment and knowledge and I can spot dozens of major lighting fuckups in big budget films up to the early 90s, as the method was to light for the camera and not the environment. Even Kubrik, who is reputed to have shot the moon landing footage had his faults.
Look for moon landing hoax- conspiracy theory on YouTube (uploaded by Ravi Shankar in 5 parts). I'm not saying the theory is right or wrong, it just raises many valid points which NASA seem to respond to with "piss off, we went, now go away as we can't be bothered to disprove your theories" not the most scientific response |

I can see their point though, they are an organisation consisting of some of the smartest people in the western world, building on decades of research and spending billions of dollars to pull of the greatest technical achievement the planet had ever seen.
Only for someone to come along and say "the shadows are a bit funny". Wouldn't you tell them to piss off too?

Quite the opposite, they're a public funded organisation being questioned on a national tv station, If the claims are that ridiculous I'd shoot them down in flames at the first opportunity to stop any momentum.
The moon landing probably rates as their most significant achievement and if they can prove beyond doubt it's genuine what's stopping them? |

I don't think that "piss off" is the official press release. There are a million and one videos on you tube either claiming or debunking the various conspiracies and giving different interpretations and opinions on the evidence so if people have the time or inclination to watch them all they can make up their own mind on the subject.
As for me,
I'm a scientist.
I know we went to the moon.

Moon hoax believers are a strange bunch.the bad science they come up with is school grade.
No stars in pics? Come on,any one who has ever taken a pic should be able to answer that.
Flag blowing.haha its a vacuum, momentum still controls the laws there.
Every pic taken was perfect.
There is a website with every apollo pic, have a look for ones self.
There were numerous unlinked agencies that tracked the whole mission, including Russia.arch enemy numero Uno.
Japan jaxa have photographed the landing site.they have also matched the landscape with apollo pics.
Laser reflectors...
Hoax believers have a problem with governments, not the landings.this is mans greatest act.they want to belittle it |

Why not whack in a 'I woz 'ere' type message? |

That would be boring.circles get people talking.
I've seen people say.man could never do designs so detailed??? Haha the same men who perform heart transplants and have been to the moon.
All the psuedoscience you talk is just a distraction.there is nothing but maths going on with crop circles. |

I have spoke any 'pseudoscience'. It was, indeed, a mathematical relationship. I just wondered in that particular example, why someone would go to the trouble of doing some complex and detailed research, then transferring that mathematical information into a visual representation and then using crops to show it to people. Seems like a lot of needless effort to get people talking. |

anything can be broken down into pointless activities.
crop circles are just another form of art.
there are numerous people who have come forward explaining what they have done.they have video recordings of it happening.
ive yet to see a video or any other evidence of little green men travelling trillions of miles to sneak around at night making pictures in grass.
can you link any sites that prove its anything other than rural graffiti? |

I thoroughly recommend that everyone checks out "storm" by Tim minchin (the animated version is the best) it can be found on a popular video sharing site.
It is a pretty accurate representation of how I feel when reading some of the posts on here. |
