"id be worried about it being a fake."

There are thousands of fake signed items out there, probably hundreds of thousands.

The problem with our collection is that we purchase a lot of it from the States so we buy on trust from dealers we know.

It's still tricky though

Is it a hobby or business? Personally I can never understand this trade surly something signed is a personal memento to you and a physical reminder of meeting these people which if Desired can be shown to others.

I am sure I could easily buy a dave grohl guitar pick and it can have as much seal of approval as you want. One of the reasons this is so awesome to me is its something I personally collected from a very intimate and amazing gig a few years ago very few people in the world will get a chance to experience something that intimate now as foo fighters very rarly have intimate gigs like that now. There are very good stories behind the others I have listed too.

"I have a signed Frank Sinatra music score sheet and my prize possession is a signed book by the late Sir Bobby Robson, "

Bobby Robson was a gent and I sore him a few times in Southampton he took his time and made sure everyone who wanted a autograph got one every time I sore him his attitude was the same spent a hour signing in a car park on one occasion. Not like the arrogant Alex ferguson 3 times i had the oppertunity to get autograph. Always ignored everyone who wasn't a Man U fan. Actually would also push us out the way if he sore some one with his autobiography he made sure he signed that.

It absolutely is, in fact if you had the signatures of all of the Jimi Hendrix Experience members on one article you would be one of only a dozen people in the whole world with such a prize.

Jools Holland is one of the biggest collectors of Rock paraphernalia in the country, he has a poster for the Denver Pop Festival with all three band members signatures and that of Joe Cocker on it....he paid Five figures for it in the late 90's.
