I write and would like some honest and open feedback regarding people's perception about erotic fiction.
Is it something you've encounted before and if so:
What grabs your attention, encourages you to read it?
Donyou prefer a physical book or is digital sufficient? |

We have quite a collection of erotica. I read it in digital and physical form.
I get very quickly bored with poorly written, unlikely story lines and the over use of flowery language. I prefer short, sweet and to the point where the author obviously understands sex from a woman's point if view |

Yes.
The kink is the main point for me. Not just sex scenes, which are in fact secondary to the kinks that the book or the characters explore. It might be a very well written book, but if it's not aligned with my kinks I won't really read it.
Digital is sufficient and actually preferred when it comes to erotic fiction. |

Do you tend to stick with authors you've come to know and trust or experiment? |

Experiment.
Most authors have a style and after a couple of books they tend to get a bit samey unless they're really good. You start to notice the use of certain phrases and descriptions over and over. |

This is something I've been working on. Having a style, but not one that detracts from the flow. |
