A small cry for help.

I need a good massure ideally in/around Manchester. But if they are excellent (by recommendation) I will travel in the NW.

I've been to two different ones now, and both to put it well, would be better changing career.

Ive been to sports physio and the Instute of massage that actually teach massage, to no avail.

If anyone knows/goes/does this even as a business around Manchester, PLEASE tell me as im suffering a little here. Im looking for Swedish sports massage only

Thanks

(If youre a guy, put a message on here as I have filters and will have to message you)

I thought Swedish massage and sports massage were very different....? I think they have different 'recommending' bodies so could try those?

thanks ... as much as massage sould be massage I dont want to be travelling the counrty.

Ive always asked for swedish sports and theyve just gotten on with it. The place I used to go to has now shut but it was a beauty centre.. they really got into the muscles.

Dont know if I should try googing each as a seperate as there seem to be very few around here now - plus those I thought would be good, are actually shite!

Let me know if you find one, I could do with a proper massage, had one many years ago as a present, and it was fantastic, left me to go to sleep .

was so relaxing I don't know why I have not had another.

Theres one in Birkenhead, Wirral which is a legitimate Thai massage place with very good reports. I've used it once and they gave an excellent, though very deep into the muscle massage. If you google thai massage birkenhead, the one you want is in Market Street.

I've also used The Chiropractic Clinic in Pensby, Wirral when I was suffering back pain and again a truely excellent treatment routine fixed the problems, though they cover many differnt types of problem.

There's a couple of sports massage centres on Wirral too if that helps.

Hope that helps

Swedish body massage is relaxation, usually for the whole body, with set movements; sports massage is completely different, its used more for mobilising joints and stretching muscles pre or post sport or for sports-related injuries; it's usually specific to one area of the body and pretty intense deep tissue massage.

One experienced massage therapist at your service, although I'm a bit too far from you OP

That's what the institute of massage did.. Didn't get any knots out whatsoever, I left having paid knowing it was a "massage".. Just saying harder please wasn't listened to.. And yeah it was non sexual lol

I always ask clients what they want from the massage, hence a thorough initial consultation.

If it's for tension release, I incorporate a lot of deep tissue movements within a Swedish massage. The knots never come out after just one session, and I advise on a couple of little exercises to keep loosened up, and PLENTY of water after treatment too.

Thanks for the points, in still looking just don't need to be spending hundreds of pounds with repeat visits. Its just frustrating as they are burning hot and need to be worked out. Cheers again
