I know imitation is a form of flattery!
But am I right to be more than a little peeved at a user that simply can't be arsed to write their own profile and instead cuts and pastes mine word for word?
It's not exactly subtle - big thanks for the tip off this morning!
And to Mr Lazy Arse of North Wales - let me know how it works out for you - as it says in the profile - feedback is always welcome!!  |

Erm I thought the point of Thursday Rants™ was to be slightly formulaic and arsey.
FYI Obi - This appears to be a genuine rant and therefore should have been made on Genuine Rant Mondays™ 
Anyway back to the rant, Obi you have been wronged in the most diabolical way for a site like this where individuality is key. If you like I will hunt him down and keep him in the hole in my cellar until such time as I decide to harvest his skin? |

I spotted this exact copy thing only last week and PM'd both guys not knowing who copied who. One replied to me, the other deleted the msg. You can guess which one edited their profile text! |

I could easily argue that there are profiles on here which copied the style of mine (when I had one); hell there are probably some that copied mine word for word. I had a lot of messages about how clever and witty my profile was, but ultimately it never got me any more meets.
Same goes for photos. Sadly, no one owns the rights to 'stylistic' content of men in suits, shots of threesomes or cock shots.
OP, take it as flattery. Take it that someone here see you as a role model and that you're doing something right that it makes people you've never met want to be like you. Let it be an ego boost. |

And I've given plenty of advice/pointers in my time over the years and always happy to!
The main advice being "let your profile reflect you" and to "be creative"!
Else we'd all have copied Funky many moons ago! |
