Spanischen Fußball ist tot und begraben. Die Deutschen kommen.
Greetings from Germany (not far from Dortmund)
Around here the Dortmund fans are going crazy and the Schalke fans are spitting fire. German fans have a reputation for being very LOUD, so you will certainly hear them. |

Barca were poor against Milan and PSG but managed to scrape through. Bayern gave them a hiding in both legs of the semi I await the final with interest.

Bayern are going to be the team to beat in Europe for the next few seasons, pity fr the Bundesliga because they're already completely dominating as it is, so it doesn't make their league anymore interesting. I think all the talk of a power shift over to German football is a little daft, sure the Bundesliga is probably the best run league there is but it doesn't have the depth of the other 3 major leagues in Europe.
Remember only a few years ago there was an all English final and 3 teams in the semis. It all runs in cycles
Bayern to win 2-0 |

"Lots of sausage being swallowed this weekend in London
they wont be eating many at wembley prices as its daylight robbery, especialy after paying bundesliga prices"
One of the newspapers here sent a reporter to sample the sausages in London. (yes seriously) Over priced, slimy and buried in overcooked mushy onions was the verdict. |

"fantastic game, two positive teams attacking at every opportunity.
the 2014 world cup, can't come quick enough for the Germans.
"
Enjoyed watching it as it was fairly balanced and a good match. Shame some hooligans ended up getting themselves arrested after. |

"And I thought this was a Political thread. Germany has tried twice before but this time they are trying to gain control of Europe by stealth..."
You are very misinformed.
For years EU membership and latterly the Euro has driven Germany's export economy, and most Germans have been happy with that arrangement, but times and attitudes are changing.
The true cost of Germany's EU membership is now open for the average German to see, and he doesn't like it. Not only the well publicised costs of the bailouts, but also the man in the street is starting to question the amount of money given to Brussels every year.
The REAL people who are "trying to take control of Europe by stealth" are the Socialist/Communist Euro elite that the Germans have turned a blind eye to for far too many years.
There is a general election here in September and for the 1st time there is a genuine Euro sceptic party in the frame (very similar to UKIP) The party was only formed in March this year and is already polling between 10 & 12% (and rising) and with the electoral system here could well hold the balance of power afterwards.
But as always there are people who will ignore the real bogeymen in Brussels as long as they can do a bit of German bashing.

"they don't like it up them ?don't tell them your name pike "
No they don't.
Barroso (Portugese Communist) Schultz (hard left German Socialist)and Van Rumpoy (Belgian Socialist) are shitting themselves.
And if they had their way all dissenters would be sent to the Gulag, so don't tell 'em your name Pike.
