At 30 I was one year into in uni with two daughters and another on the way, almost 1/2 million overdrawn / in debt from
Business and two mortgages. It was fun though i was having panic attacks , I think I’d tell myself it’s all going to be okay |

Nothing. I made good choices and not so good choices, and I learned a lot from both. I don't regret things, it's all life experience.
Just live your life and enjoy yourself OP. Plus have a great 30th birthday when it arrives. 🎂

Just to enjoy life really. Don’t sweat the small stuff as what seems a problem today won’t even matter the same time next year.
Also, comparison is the thief of all joy.
Life is short, so enjoy it whilst you can.

30 is a great age OP, embrace it.
Invest time, energy and resources in yourself- your health, your knowledge and education, your finances. You'll be glad you did when you're older.
Be very careful about those you keep close. Have high standards, set a mark on what you expect and drop those who don't match that.
Always look for those who'll raise you a bit higher, make you a bit better. Keep away from those who'll pull you down. |

"So the big 30 is getting close for me, as much as I refuse to accept it!
For those who are older, what do you wish you could go back and tell yourself at 30? Or do anything differently? "

In addition to above I’d say don’t buy fuck all with anyone, I bought my first house with ex at 29 put the money up did all the work and never saw a penny of it when we split. I know it don’t always end up like that but not worth the risk imho |

To cake at 30?
I would tell myself, you need to secure your assets, make sure he doesn't screw you out of the home you worked hard for through your 20s, take everything you worked with him to build and then still try to screw you out of the pittance he is going to offer you.
But even if you can't and he still does, it's going to be ok, because you will find safety, love, security and a home, even when things are tough, you will get through it.
go on little cake! be free. |

In vest for tomorrow now and then don't go out and put the money to one side. |

Tough one this
I should have walked away from my DV marriage but if I’d done that I wouldn’t have my two youngest children who I can’t imagine my life without
I’d go back and tell myself that everything will work out eventually and that I’d smile, feel safe and love myself again |
