Be it myth or manipulation we all want to fall in love.
The experience makes us feel completely alive.
Our everyday reality is shattered and we are flung into the heavens.
It may only last a moment or an hour but that doesn't diminish its value.
We are left with memories that are with us for the rest of our lives, some good, some bad.
But why do people fall in love when it can be so short and so painful ?
Is it genetics, is it social conditioning, is it propogation of the species OR is it quite simply because while it does last, it feels fkin great ? |
