this thread might turn into a bit of a circle jerk/masturbatory thread so please excuse me for that!
Often there are people on the forums where their words and opinions, their sense of humour or their values just speak to you, you vibe with them and you like their content. Not to get naked but just to hump their mind. Who are those people for you? Who do you love with a little L? Who makes you get wet for their throbbing loquaciousness? |

They all make me laugh and I like their personality. I’m sure there are more that haven’t come to mind.
I do like the people I’ve had a few disagreements with over the years too. I like and respect that they don’t back down. A few I can think of are Pickle, Tea, sparkles, Scarlet, Lorna. I’d love a drink with all of them.

I adore my FWB.
It went from real, authentic, romantic and very lustful (but impossible) love to a very pure, greater and genuine love. The sex element could be completely removed and I’d still have this treasured friendship. I love that.
I met my best female friend on here too. I love her. It is a great and pure platonic love. We’ve proven that we’d do anything for each other.

Three folk here have spoken by language and got the real me in person
One was Lickety (it was once said by another forumite that I was a little bit Lickety and she was a little bit me)
The other two (as far as I know) are no longer in the forums - 1 is here as part of a couple and the other is my favourite menace to society

The ‘that’s what I like about you’ threads are great for me to tell others I notice them and enjoy their posts. This thread just seemed an opportunity to tell the world you love a particular poster. People definitely should avoid the naming types of thread if they are searching for their name, that 'might' be mentioned as, invariably they will be disappointed.

I don’t want this thread to be about popularity or anything related but by nature, those that most enjoy will be regular users and ‘popular’.
I’m not sure why any of this would stop people from posting either.

I used to feel really excluded on all the threads that were “mention the ______ forumite” whatever. I was the first one on the pitchfork chasing clique wagon! 😂😂😂😂 I still dislike those threads and I now don’t even bother opening them. But also other things and thoughts have taken priority in my life over the last few months and all that seems miniscule in comparison.
I think the difference about this thread is that it -is- meant to be totally subjective. It comes from the feels, the heart. 🫀🫀🫀 and for those of us who wear their heart on their sleeve, some people’s names spring to mind. Which is why I mentioned the 2 most significant people in my life- that is right- my REAL life apart from my immediate family who as, I met on Fab. But then when I saw that it was forumites then I had to think a little bit more. And there are people whose interactions I enjoy. And most of them were not mentioned before but they have contributed greatly to the forum over the years and if makes me smile seeing their posts or their messages when they send me one. 💫

This thread isn’t about excluding anyone, it’s about showing love for people that you enjoy. Not everyone will be mentioned and that’s ok.
If someone is flicking through and looking for their name then they’re likely to be disappointed. That doesn’t mean that they’re not valued, seen or a part of things |

And the thing is people are trying to say the that the Forum is inclusive and friendly and that maybe so from their perspective but there are enough people saying it isn't so from their perspective and that can't be negated |

My brain struggles with names that aren't easy to remember. Especially if they have a silhouette profile picture. And I really struggle to engage in conversation with a cock or flap close up. I comment less these days as you can almost guarantee who's going to reply to posts depending on the OP. It's when the posts turn into a conversation (I use that term loosely) between a handful of people that's off putting...I think most just think "why bother" |

There's too many people to mention but Henriette&Sam springs to mind.
