I’m hoping some of your responses if any will help me out.
In my experience sometimes I find this site a little difficult to get responses or meets which eventually can make you second guess yourself. Maybe it’s not for me.
However….
Why fab and not a normal dating site like Tinder, Hinge or POF? |

We like the personal connections and building some really good friendships that comes with the swinging scene. It would probably easier to find a single man to join us from Tinder or PoF, but that's not what we're looking for |

There's also the added safety/confidence of verification and reporting.
Knowing there isn't a catfish moment coming. And checking verifications that someone isn't going to push boundaries etc. |

Verifications for me just mean they're more likely to actually show up. They'll still catfish and put on an act
Nothing horrendous but we've had one guy turn up 20 years older, stinking to high heaven and a good few stone larger than any of the pics they'd shown us, verifications coming out of the eyeballs, all hailing him as some sort of Adonis. Others really go all in on a fake personality online too, and then when you meet them, even if their real personality isnt necessarily a bad thing, it completely ruins it and I (Mrs) will instantly lose any interest, it's so jarring.
Yes everyone has different tastes and standards, there's always going to be discrepancies between anything through a screen and the reality, but honestly there's plenty of people with verifications that are just full of lies.
Obviously we could probably solve that by being stricter with video calling or something before meets.

Cause all of those sites offer the same negatives as fab (lack of responses, women that never show up at meets, fake profiles etc) with the added negatives of the possible shunning if I mention any of my kinks to a potential date. |

I've not had any luck with dating apps... and 'cos I have such a hectic life between work and kids I don't really have the time or energy to be able to commit to a relationship. So through Fab I'm hoping to find some friends with benefits.
Not had much luck here either so far, but still working on it. |

OP, without knowing anything about yourself or your pant hidden weapon, have you ever seen a tndr profile requesting BBC only? I haven't and I'm not saying that's the profiles who both hunt you and you hunt, people can target very specific wishes on here, on tndr your requests will probably end up on a reddit forum for the world to see, Fab it's only the Sydney university that will collect that data (tin foil hat on, Sydney believers inbound ) |

My phone won't support hinge feeld and bumble. I'm on a lifetime Tinder ban. I used to use pof many years ago before this whole "swipe" thing came into play. In all honesty it's not that deep for me. If I get what I get on here every once in a while then I'm cool. OP you have the good fortune of their being BBW club events up and down the country. I don't see anyone rushing to put on a skinny, tattooed cub night anytime soon. |

After a 30+ year relationship/marriage ending before Christmas and whilst on a holiday with my ex, was listening to a football podcast (Friday club) and I heard a couple of funny stories which mentioned this site, so I looked into it, had thought why not give it a go....I certainly don't want to start dating or any kind of relationship anytime soon, but I do have "needs" and a curious mind, and also fairly open minded so prepared to try most things, at least once, hence why I am here ant not on any other site at the minute, so far so good, and I'm looking forward to that continuing....

Why Fab? Because I like it.
I view it the same as playing the lottery, most weeks you waste your effort but there is a chance of winning something, maybe a tenner, maybe the jackpot and checking the numbers is weirdly exciting, but mostly unsuccesfull.
On Fab, sometimes you chat with like minded people, sometimes you get a little flirtation and sometimes, you get to meet but mostly nothing------------
On both you have to be in it to win it but nothing is guaranteed.
Fab has better pictures and comments though. |

Match.com is really good too if you are just looking for sex. I have had more meets on there than on Fab. It does cost more but you will speak to more women.
This site is oversaturated with blokes and unless you can really stand out, it’s always going to be tough sport getting a meet with somebody.

Fab was the first one I tried. But I also use a dating app that’s good for meeting ENM people and people that are into kinkier sex than people on usual dating apps. In all honesty the dating app is nice because there’s more people around my age that are ENM.

Online dating sites like Tinder and Bumble are hard to navigate because it feels like you don't know what people want. At least on Fab, you get a sense of what people and so it is easier to navigate.

Imo, if you don't want to 'swing', you're not going to be "successful" and will inevitably have that feeling of second guessing yourself. Happens all the time and will continue to happen because people think it's Ashley madi or whatever it's called.
I don't even think it's unique to blokes that have that feeling of doubt. Women sign up here expecting a few nsa encounters and get swamped and then leave thinking all men are dicks. May get a few that stay though and enjoythe attention having a vagina brings. A different experience you'd say, but still the outcome very similar. |
