Hey all, hope you’re ok!
Just wondering and would love to hear from women about how far you would be willing to travel to meet another guy or couple or vice versa. Like would you willing to hear an offer from a guy willing to travel from another city?

I've had a few travel down to Manchester to see me, in various guises; one rendezvoused with me in Manchester having travelled down from Sterling (Scotland).
These licentious womenfolk are clearly not afraid of long distance passages or locomotives, whatever their motives. 🦋 |

I very rarely travel and very rarely want others to travel to me.
It adds pressure. If a guy comes to me from Aberdeen or I go to Swansea, there's an additional cost and inconvenience involved. Sometimes that translates into people expecting sex. Sex is never guaranteed.
(And I know that you - any given person - would never pressure someone into sex. You're far too wonderful for that, or whatever. However, I'm far too not born yesterday to take that chance) |

People (yes I know this was aimed at women) will travel as far as they're comfortable with based on the person they're looking to meet, whether it's someone they've met before and know well, whether it's for a specific event/group social/club night and based on their own personal preferences and commitments.
I'd guess statistically many men will be willing to travel further than women, but as has been said, that may raise expectancy levels re what occurs when they get there.
People will do what people will do. 🤷♂️ |

We have travelled to Manchester from Glasgow for a meet. I guess as a couple we have the benefit of if it doesn’t work out ie no show or just not feeling it we can still enjoy our night in a different city with an overnight in a nice hotel  |

I don't drive so if I'm meeting, I prefer people to come to me. But even then I would not meet anyone who lives more than an hour drive from me. There are way too many expectations if someone had to travel for hours to get to me, regardless of what they say. The main one would be sex, not just social, but also overnight accommodation - I am not a hotel, I like to sleep on my own. Also, longer distances make it difficult for the meets to be regular if both parties wish so. |

There's a good reason I prefer to meet people at group socials. I enjoy the travel and the event and getting to know a fair few people at once. If chemistry and attraction is established there, then I'm happy to travel a good distance to meet someone at a later date.
3 hours with no air-con to Leicester on the hottest day of the year was a particular highlight 😂 |

I agree about the pressure of having to have sex But I’m a happy traveller I’d go the extra mile for anyone if I knew I meant a lot But I for one would never pressure anyone  |

I agree with this, if a guy I've never met is willing to travel a fair distance to meet me I feel there is an expectation that I will have sex with him which I never guarantee until I have met someone. So it does make me feel a bit uneasy and under pressure of I decide I don't want to. If we have spoken on the phone/video call and I know there is a vibe I might be more inclined to agree.
As I don't drive train travel becomes expensive so I prefer to save my travel to see people I know or for club/social events. I am not sure I would travel outside of Manchester for a meet with someone I hadn't met before right now. |

I hear all these points. I sometimes get to travel for work to Bristol, I’d always get in fab when I’m in my hotel but never get any joy. Nothing beats a lonely hotel wank so not a total loss  |

I love a good adventure and will often do a 400 mile round trip to see my favourite person
I also like to combine my adventures with social events and can catch up with friends that way too |

Depends on finances. I can't drive so if the train fare is reasonable I can do it.
There's a guy in chatting to who lives near Cambridge which for me is near £150. So there's no way I'm going to him lol
Northampton, halfway in-between, only £30 though.
I guess my cutoff is that I won't pay more for the train than I would for the hotel when I get there. |

I did three longer trips a few years ago to meet people. They're my exceptions. We'd talked daily/ nearly daily for years, starting in 2020. We hadn't met, but longer communication over time overcame that.
Given we no longer have these constraints, that's not happening again. |

For a first meeting… an hour maybe if we’ve hit it off chatting.
For a group social… no real limit as I’ll make it into a mini break.
Someone I’m seeing regularly - no limit.
It’s not really about distance. My issue is time. |

As I don't drive, I usually say up to 1hr by public transport. Many of my social meets are in Cardiff as I work there.
I will meet further afield if I'm combining it with another event etc, but no longer prepared to travel long distance and pay out for hotel only to have my time wasted. |

For a one on one visit, 20 miles is enough. That’s still an hour and a half of driving for possibly 20 minutes of sex. Or worse it could be a no show.
For club visits I’ll drive 4 hours especially if I’m staying in a town for a weekend.
I much prefer to accommodate. |

We met a gent in a club in Blackpool.
Neither of us lived close to there and we were over 150 miles away from each other but for over a year we would take regular road trips to each others for a weekend.
For people you connect with you make the effort.
If we’ve never met them in person then we wouldn’t consider travelling that far or expect/want someone to.

I/we would happily travel for the right couple.
Love to have a weekend away so would think nothing about travelling a couple of hundred miles one way. Why put barriers in the way of having an enjoyable time, thats why cars were invented |

I wouldn't travel too far for a first meet. It's a social only anyway and I've seen too many threads where people have been stood up after paying to travel and for hotels etc.
If I got to know someone well and I'd met them a few times, then I'd travel futher. |
