I've been to London once. Hated it, but don't like cities generally. So never again.

P.s. never drive to london

In like, two weeks. I want to do touristy stuff. I'm planning on either going to the Tower of London or the Royal Observatory. Maybe.

It's not my favourite place either. But I don't mind the drive between here and Glasgow, city of my birth.

Yes. It was free. Used the DLR, then river boat back up the Thames. Great trip, especially if you have kids, but perfect for adults too

HAHAHA I told my kid I might go to the Royal Observatory and I was like, it'll be great to see everything and then I can stand on the Greenwich Meridien Line!! And he gave me the most withering look like. How are you so deeply uncool, why would anyone want to do that?

It really put me in my place.

I've got some old and new friends to meet in London sometime this year.

I don't really have any other reason to go, some good museums, perhaps a show. It's not really a city that resonates for me. No offence to the Loopholes and residents amongst us intended.
