I love the stirrings of Spring all around, making me smile after the long dark months. What have you spotted?

Great drifts of snowdrops out on green banks, buds showing on some magnolia and even a couple of sycamores. The first few crocuses in early flower, not yet fully opened and still sparse. Birdsong and more light. Spring bunching itself unseen, ready to drop upon us, but still with the threat that winter might rage and snow and blast a final time or two.

Aside from the buds in the garden I’ve seen much more Fox activity. My dog is going mental each night when he senses them mooching for food.

"I’m staring to get my complexion back after a pale winter "

That did make me laugh, especially as some are under the misconception that black people don't tan or don't need suncream

Spring is sprung the grass has ris’,

I wonder where the birdies is.

There he is up in the sky,

He dropped some whitewash in my eye!

I’m alright, I won’t cry,

I’m just glad that cows don’t fly!

The blue tits were inspecting my nesting box, at the start of January. A pair of them look and peck at it for weeks, every spring.
