Great drifts of snowdrops out on green banks, buds showing on some magnolia and even a couple of sycamores. The first few crocuses in early flower, not yet fully opened and still sparse. Birdsong and more light. Spring bunching itself unseen, ready to drop upon us, but still with the threat that winter might rage and snow and blast a final time or two. |

Yesterday at work was nice and sunny first tshirt day we had to go for bricks in afternoon and driving there in the sun with windows open was glorious and really felt like winter be done soon |

"Magpies repairing their nest in a tree near my house. They do it every year, takes them weeks! "
The blue tits were inspecting my nesting box, at the start of January. A pair of them look and peck at it for weeks, every spring. |
