It was in Emmerdale but it was a while ago now, it was a German Shepherd belonging to chastity's son, he threatened a couple of guys with the dog, but the guys came back and killed the dog, I had a shepherd at the time, that hurt a lot. |

Yes! Also, there was an older guy who was dying and JD and Turk spent the night by his bedside drinking a beer and chatting. He was always going to die but it was so sad. |

The Champ is the only thing that I can remember bringing tears to my eyes when I left the cinema and that was over 45 years ago. It wasn't the fact that the dad died, it was the little boys pain that you could feel in his wailing.
Oh, and the film Shenandoah when I was really young had me crying. It was on the tv so it counts. |

Many characters in The Tales of Farthing Wood. That show was brutal
Particularly Mr and Mrs Pheasant. She gets shot whilst being a lookout for the others then put in a pie by a farmer. Her husband goes back to see her resting place but bc he's crying so hard he doesn't see the farmer who shoots him too.  |
