Needles don't bother me. Had a big one this morning - didn't wince or anything.
Blood tests are fine but I have "junky's veins" and they have to dig around to fine them! Really doesn't bother me at all. |

Oh and i watch them all the while doing it, in fact im too busy rabbiting away i dont realize they have done it half the time.Cant understand why people kick up a fuss unless you have a phobia of needles.
The only time its ever hurt was when they yanked half my skin of with a canular last year once, when i had my brain scan |

im pinching that term lol
yeah mine are deep and thin, thats why they couldnt fit a cannula as the vein would collapse. Im a difficult bleeder and they tend to go for the back of my hand or my wrist.
stings a little but tollerable |

That's an adrenaline release you can taste - quite common with any trauma, even a minor one. |

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire) |
Used to hate them, but my wee guy was a fertility treatment baby, 4 years of treatments with about a minimum of 8 - 12 blood tests every month... soon got over it, and when it came to injecting myself, it was a doddle. (one cycle I counted 112 needles! lol) |

"Funny, I hate needles, but love having my tattooes "
I used to be the same as this, everyone said how can you go faint at the thought of a blood text but have big tattoos that have taken hours! But since I had my son and had tonnes of blood tests, injections and an IV thru labour I think I'm over it now x |

i ave to have fairly regular tests and i am ok with them, my veins are wll hidden but i know the one spot they are guaranteed to get some, i have often joked about etting an 'x' tattooed there for them
i had to have tests when looking after my nephew once and the nurse encouraged him to watch as i was really calm to prevent him from getting a phobia about it. |

It's never been a bother to me
As a kid used to do silly things - thread pins or needles through the calluses on my hands
I've moved on to having acupuncture now |

Have blood tests every three months .... always goes well and doesn't both me in the least. Had a cortisone injection to ease a frozen shoulder a month or so back and that was a tad uncomfortable to say the least. |

I'm terrified of them. Faint at the sight... Yet due to a blood condition have it taken every 4 weeks at the least.. |

Injections generally don't bother me but having blood taken is something I really dislike. I have to avert my eyes. |

Injections and tattoos = ABSOLUTELY fine.
Blood tests, however... They can never seem to get anything from me despite me being healthy, active, and drinking plenty of water (One poor nurse spent 15mins trying to get half a vial once). I hate the sensation and have almost fainted a few times, but more from panic than pain. - It just feels so Alien and wrong and I just want to rip it out.

A fear of them and don't have them for fillings at the dentist as the pain is less. If I can go without needles, I will and avoid them like the plague. Rarely have I had an injection that didn't hurt |

I have to have blood tests every three months for my thyriods so I'm used to it and love it, love watching lol and because I have deep veins there is only one nurse at my doctors surgery who can actually take my blood the others cant, but Kieran hates needles and blood x |
