What’s the longest voice note you’ve sent and the longest you’ve received??
I just sent a 10 minute voice note to my dear friend and thought to myself- how did I just speak for 10 minutes straight, uninterrupted???

"I think mine was over 5mins which is a miracle because I get quite nervous doing them and stutter and lose my place quite a bit

19 minutes is the longest I've sent, the longest received is nearly 24 minutes!! To anyone thinking you could have made a call, it's easier because we live live in different time zones and sometimes a long message is necessary  |

"They're easily over 5 mins with my best mate. Hers are much much longer and she rambles loads though, makes conversations when working different shift patterns easier for us. "
I understand this (my close friends would probably say the same about me - I'm definitely a waffler!), only certain friends get podcasts from me! |

My best friend lives in Australia and with the 11 hour time difference (and the fact that she has two teeny tiny humans to look after) we mostly only communicate via voice note.
I love hers so much. She'll have a snoring child right next to the speaker or will have to interrupt her story to tell off her toddler ❤️
We talk on a platform that only allows for 5 minute voice notes so I'll usually send her 3-4 5 minute voice notes in a row. More if it's been longer since we caught up/depending on how messy I've been in my life. |

Don't think I've ever sent a voice note. I hate the things, I'd rather they send a text or ring me.
If I get a voice note I either text a reply or call them back.
I also hate leaving voicemial message when people can't be arsed to answer their phone. |

My mate once left me a maximum length voice mail. He'd rung me just on his mobile just as the BT engineer rang his doorbell to fix his landline but forgot to hang up on calling me. I got many minutes of them discussing the faulty phone! Haha! |

About 8 minutes or so, I'm told I have a soothing voice and a lovely accent (I don't agree lol)
My sister lives in Florida and can leave voicenotes about 30 mins long on a regular basis just for chat purposes...its like I'm listening to her podcast on the way to work haha |

Yes!! I do my best not to inflict them on to those who really don't like them but I also don't expect one just because I've sent one. |
