"Oh yes! I have a few of the collectors star wars ones. My favourite has to be the big ecto 1 from Ghostbusters though"
I’ve still got all the kids star wars sets from when they were little as well as all the other things but they’re all broken up into tubs. I doubt they’ll ever get sorted. |

I got the Dune ornithopter for my birthday, last year.
It's the most complicated thing I've ever built and it was a joy.
The thing I loved most about it, oddly enough, was the sheer effort that must have gone in to designing, engineering and manufacturing it.
Small beer compared to restoring a car, or a boat, or a plane - but I know my limitations. 🙂 |

Loved it when I was a kid, don’t have much of a collection anymore (parents took all of it when they went to France, still annoyed at that)
Love the display pieces want to save up for the black panther bust. |

😂 people have pointed out that you can see some of my Lego modular sets in my most recent picture.
I’m a bit offended, really, that they could see the Lego at all as the picture is of me in red lingerie but 🤷♀️😃 |

I saw the Lego, however, I have to admit the majority of my attention was directed to other parts of your photo. |

Would it be cheeky to ask to actually see your lego display?
There's just something about building lego, takes you out of the adult zone and makes you feel like a kid again. |

Sitting on the table |
I used to have the big red bucket of random Lego bricks like I imagine most kids in the 80s and 90s did.
I used to prefer Meccano though. It had bolts and screws so it wouldn't get obliterated if you accidentally knocked your build off the table, kits often came with quite powerful DC motors and the metal parts were electrically-conductive, so I felt like you could do more with Meccano if you went off-script. |

It's a shame it requires so much dusting.
I've got a lot of Star Wars lego. My favourite is either the Death Star or the Super Star Destroyer. The At At was actually quite a dull build and I ended up giving that to a nephew |

The big sets on my list are hogwarts Castle, eiffel tower, grand piano and all the Lord of the rings.
I've a small collection of Harry Potter birds and a dragon.
The kids have tons which I obvs get to help with.
Hubby has the excavator which he turned into Johnny 5 and a blue car (I don't know what it is). He's collecting star wars heads.
Oh and I have groot to build.
Put a stop to buying any more until we work out how to display it |

How I would love a whole room dedicated to Lego sets. I have a few Harry Potter ones and would love the Hogwarts castle but at over £300 I don’t think I could justify spending that when my kids need feeding 😂🤣 |

Love it, find it quite mindful to just get engrossed in building.
Have the artworks; Starry night, the great wave and the Mona Lisa.
I have the stranger things house, and the McLaren F1 car hangs on my study wall! |

Hey. Completely obsessed love the stuff. No better way to spend an evening. My favourite has to be the titanic. Just finished building it. And oh wow such clever and funny parts usage. Sausage for an anchor. Most wanted now is the Eiffel tower. The haunted house looks awesome. |

How have I not spotted this thread before?! Yep defo obsessed here. Loved it as a kid, packed it away when I thought I was "too old" for it. Then got old enough to realise I can do whatever I want!
I don't have a favourite set as an adult, but as a child it was definitely the pirate ship.
Top of my wishlist at the mo is Van Gogh's Sunflowers. It's so expensive 😭 I've started saving up points from doing surveys etc though in the hope that I'll have enough to buy it for myself at Christmas.
I have most of the botanical collection, the only ones I want but don't have yet are the bamboo and mini orchid from the four gentlemen sets (got the other two at xmas last year).
I like a lot of the Ideas range too, but don't have as many of those (limited by space and finances!). I also have a few of the art pieces - the Great Wave and Starry Night. |

I pretty much live in a Lego house right now. Me and my kids play with Lego dating back to the late 70s (its pretty indestructible). A couple of generations worth. There's my brothers (who's a good bit older than), loads of mine, my daughter's and my son's.
As a kid I had loads of lego from the mid 80s- early 90s. Lego City, Lego Pirates, Lego Castle themes for me. Most of which has come over from my mums and we are putting back together. Me and my son have just restored The Black Knights Castle and our next project is getting the Barracuda pirate ship back online and the trading post.
I think the set I probably had the most fun playing with was the Barrcauda. With the firing cannons and characters so much fun.
In my opinion the early 80s to mid 90s was the golden era of Lego.
Don't think I'll ever grow out of building Lego.

I used to love Lego as a kid and rediscovered the love a few years ago. Mainly Star Wars and LOTR with some odd sets that catch my eye.
Favourite set at the moment is Rivendell, it’s a brick masterpiece. And a little disappointed with the new Shire set.
Excited for the new Death Star and there was a rumoured Goonies set too |

Love building Lego, most of the sets I have are technic related and some of the icon/creator expert ones, like concorde. I still have a unopened space shuttle expedition set from 2012 that I need to build at some point.
Did you see theres a leaked NASA 747 and space shuttle set meant to be coming out this year. That'll definitely get bought if it does get released. |
