Communication is put about the compulsory change of all landlines to digital voice. I know lots don't have landlines but anyone who has will be receiving these letters. In most cases it will be straightforward. Of course it will not work if there is a powercut. Therefore not easy for those without a mobile and there are still lots without one, especially elderly. Also sometimes and various reasons as in recent storms, mobile signals are also affected. |
