I tend to use my debt card for everything except really small transactions. Ive just had to raid my loose change jar to buy some envelopes as yet again ive realized i dont have any money in my purse.

The wife swears by using her debit card, she says you then only spend what you need to as getting cash out the hole in the wall, you always get more then you need thus wasting it, so her thinking is good I suppose and if she does need cash she just bums off me |

I'm going to sound really old now but I hate using cards to pay for stuff I prefer to get the money out and pay cash for something I just feel I can keep better track of everything I spend that way, I just don't trust cards and banks, I don't even like ordering on line I'd rather pay a bit more and get it from a shop and know it's there in my hand |

My pet hate is people using cards in pubs/bars! Slows everything down, and prevents me getting my beer! How hard is it to get some cash and prevent drought? The worst are when groups come in and each order their own and all pay in turn by card. AAAAARGH. |
