when one texts on o2 you usually get a ping back with yr balance .. but not today; they're saving capacity in readiness for the mass text around midnight

its all depends in what network an what area your in really

but as advice i would put it off till 30 mins or so

wont be really texting any 1 till later on

My daughters birthday tomorrow so will send her birthday/new year text in a mo then turn phone off. Getting texts already which I'm finding strangely depressing!
