"If it wasn't for the fact Dalek leader Davros is science fiction I would have sworn Kier Starmer is him reincarnated.
I've noticed Rachel Reeves is sounding more Dalek every interview.

God knows what that makes bad Enoch and bojo |

I don’t believe in reincarnation at all, and even less so after last night. I watched a video on YT claiming that autistic people are reincarnated aliens, “interplanetary travellers” who are too sensitive for this low-vibration world because we’re used to a high-vibration one.
I was just looking for meditation tips! ![](/icons/s/confused.gif) |

There are some very convincing anecdotes within families of things children have said that seem to imply that they're reincarnated. Our son said some odd stuff. I don't see how there were enough souls in history to engender the current population |

I don't have any belief in the continuation of an individual, which is created and supported within an organic body, once that body dies. Our personality is a seemingly developing entity, that is shaped by inner and exterior factors but is held within the biochemistry of that physical body. If something happens to the physical materials, such as experiences, accidents, etc then we see the resultant changes, to the personality, as they perceive themselves as well as how others perceive us. Changing at the molecular or macro levels, seems to be how we are produced and experience ourselves and life. The brain appears to be our core, the mind produced via the myriad of neurochemical processes. Could something that is produced from all of this architecture, be produced and continued on something else, in entirety? Sure, it may be possible but I think it's not particularly likely to be possible. That stands for reproduction of the exact same self or transmutation of it, into another evolving self.
Thus I'm inclined to not consider reincarnation to be likely. |

Reincarnation is an interesting idea, which I find more plausible than beardy men sitting on clouds.
I had a dalliance in my youth with someone who was deeply into it, through scrying, shamanism and witchcraft. She was a rather interesting person, the whole blood magic rituals thing got a bit much for me though. She had that distant/vacant look in her eyes sometimes that made me a little apprehensive, about whether I would wake up the next day. |

It's not something I've believed in but who knows?
I just find it a bit dodgy that everyone was someone famous. Nobody does a past life regression and finds out they were a leprous beggar in the 12th century, or a landless serf working for turnips.
No, it's always cleopatra or napoleon or minor European royalty. |

Odd that isn't it billions of people and everyone has been Cleopatra in a former life. |

I get it! I have to admit that sometimes I wonder if things are all in my head, or if they genuinely did happen when I have spiritual moments 😅 It's one of those things that can never be proven, unfortunately! |

Maybe they were a turnip that came back as a landless serf or vice versa, with no past life memory, and working their way up to Henry VIII or Cleo. Cleo could have started as an olive.
Maybe prominent people from history have a special stronger spirit to return, chosen ones.
I personally don't feel I've been reincarnated but had some deja vue and strange dreams of being in places that I've later encountered in real life.

Hindus might say animal souls and maybe plants are reincarnating as well so there'd be plenty don't worry |

I believe in reincarnation.
I think we exist fundamentally as continually evolving souls. I think one way the soul evolves is through learning, and that learning is experienced through earthly reincarnations. An analogy would be the way we go to nursery, lower school, middle school, upper school, college, uni, and so on.
We are so much more than a blink-of-an-eye flesh-and-blood entity.
I believe there is a much much higher purpose to human earthly life. It's essentially a school. |

I think it does. This earthly life offers non stop opportunities for growth of the soul through the pain of physical life.
There's a very widely reported phenomenon of a life review. People who are at the gateway of death, but are miraculously revived report going through a life review where they relived moment of their life where they had been kind or hurtful to others. When they saw how hurtful they'd been to others, they experienced it from the other's point of view.
I believe this life is where we have the experience, and this spiritual realm is where we review this life, assimilate the lessons (of love) into the soul, and after a rest, return more evolved and ready to take on the next term.
This explains why on earth we have people who range from feral through to saintly. The saints might be on their last incarnation before their soul journey goes onto something higher.

Regression has never been proven scientifically and often any 'memories' that are the result of it turn out to be suspiciously similar to books and films that the subject have read.
Also, everyone who claims to have lived a past life seems to have been someone famous or to have lived during a significant time. No one turns out to have just been someone who never left Doncaster and just worked down the pit, living a quiet life and keeping themselves to themselves. ![](/icons/s/2/cute.gif) |
