What is your ultimate sandwich filling?

What type of bread, any condiments?

Toasted or not?

Does it differ if it’s toasted?

You can’t make me choose only one.

Sometimes what I want is simply a good bacon on a nice bloomer with lots of good salted butter

Other times I want a big bap with shredded roast pork shoulder, crackling, stuffing and apple sauce with a bowl of gravy to dip it in

Then I might want lightly toasted bread with fresh roast chicken, salad and turmeric mayo

Or grilled halloumi in a wrap with cucumber and fresh sweet beef tomatoes

My ultimate Sandwich changes with my mood and the hour of the day

Bacon easily

Most everything else is underwhelming but that’s maybe off working outside while adult life and sandwiches being the only real option they get stale or may win just shit at making them ha

All over

It depends really. Sometimes all you want is a decent ham and cheese toastie. Another time a cold sandwich with fresh ingrediends on a lovely nutty bread is awsome. Of course a toasted crispy bacon, with some grilled tomato, is just the ticket too. Depends what I fancy at the time.

I love egg mayonnaise, just really soft fresh white bread.

Little bit of black pepper if I’m being picky.
