Can’t believe I’ve only just seen this.

What are your favourite queer stories told on film?

Mine is moonlight and then probably this.

There’s a good, if quite dark, movie called Femme - think it’s on Netflix. It draws out themes that any drag queen or femboy would recognise.

Not a film but I was obsessed with the TV series 'Sugar Rush' when I was as teenage girl trying to work out my own sexuality

Moonlight is gorgeous. I literally was so emotional watching it.

‘Who is you, Chiron’ is one of my favourite lines in cinema.

Absolutely do it! Dancehall culture in 80s NYC with the backdrop of the aids epidemic. It’s done so beautifully

Carol is one of my favourite films - visually beautiful, subtle and thoughtful.

At the other end of the spectrum, Different for Girls is as subtle as a brick through a window, but I think it has its own charm. I do like both Rupert Graves and Steven Mackintosh, which I guess helps.

Un Chant d'Amour - the cigarette scene. Say no more.

Probably because I was a teenager when I watched them but I've always liked Beautiful Thing and But I'm a Cheerleader. They're rather different in tone

Oh I saw that one at the cinema.

I enjoyed it, but I found some of the themes pretty unpleasant.

Echoing But I'm a Cheerleader for very different toned but very enjoyable 💜
