I’m sure everyone could list a huge amount of stuff ie

The internet (if only for fab 😜)

The motor car

Aircraft

All medical advancements

Television

Phones etc…….

I’m talking about the most useful invention for everyday use. I was putting on my jeans this morning and thought to myself, Denim must be one of the most versatile and useful inventions ever.

The cold is not a single virus: it is a family of viruses.

Cold & Flu capsules 💊 aren’t a cure but they definitely make it more manageable.

GPS & SatNav. Yeah, AI, the Internet and all that it does for us is nice n'all, but Sat Nav is as big as the wheel was all those millennia ago. (IMHO)

Yes!

The amount of non tourist-industries that rely on this is huge. Architects, farmers and agronomists, archeologists, forest fire control, animal tracking on land and in the sea. Ordanace surveying, earthquake observing and companie like what3words, who make finding places really easy to find and publish.

I once used to date a nurse and in their accommodation would be clippings of the worst of A&E.

A gentleman went into their department with a set of bike handlebars inside him. So not just butt plugs old boy!

I've a bad back today and just applied a Deep Heat roll on. No greasy fingers with application and it's really lovely and toasty warm.

Did you know that the original technology that is said to form the basis of modern WiFi was developed by Hollywood actress Hedy Lamar.

Talking watches are great, I've had one. Brilliant, simple, useful and cheap. £30ish.
