All over

Not been myself but heard about them and everybody thinks it's wonderful and great support in a very low key way

Southport

Great meetings, excellent place to get to talk and get stuff off your chest without being judged.

Been going to one for a few months now and it has helped tremendously - although I'm sure they all groan when they hear my bike pull up outside.

Only joking, they are a pretty sound bunch and will always make you feel welcome and valued.

I started standing at a fair that one group local to me held a couple of years ago. In that time, more groups have opened and more are planned too I believe. I have had their origins explained and, whilst it was borne out of terrible loss, it is something that is demonstrably needed and works. Any chap struggling, the hardest part will be going through the door - after that it's all gravy. Go for it.

I’ve been struggling quite a bit recently and definitely think I need to get some things off my mind/chest/shoulders. Might have a bit of bravado on here with chats and banter, but definitely had a tough period over xmas and new year pretty much spent it alone.

Not been to one myself but know people who have and have had really positive experiences.

If you feel like you need to talk to people or just be there to listen to others, then please go.

It may be the best decision that you can make but you won't know until you try.

Admitting you are struggling is a tough barrier to start with taking those steps into a group will be just as hard but once you do a problem shared is a problem halved as they say. Look at it this way if you unburden your problems those you unburden to take a piece of it from you.

If you need a listening ear message

I've never required the need but I've councilled a couple of guys who have had a rough time, one who had to search Warrenpoint whilst it was still covered with body parts and he also had a member of his section shot in the head on the same tour.
