As far as I understood it from a fab member the choices are listed in size order and from what I’ve seen, those body types seem to have pictures of larger women, so where no pics are available I go with larger. |

Maybe in certain context but if you said "she looked fabulous in her new dress" you wouldnt mean she looked enormous... would you? |

On here I interpret it as very large. Simply because under body type it comes above ample and large. I’ve always thought it a bit odd as a body type though.
In real life fabulous would never make me think large. |

I put large. I personally don’t feel that large but I would never in a million years describe myself as curvy or ample  |

I think most of the descriptors are pretty meaningless. I don't pay any attention to them on profiles I look at.
Pictures tell a better story.
I went with ample because that's kinda how I view my body. However, others might view it differently and that's OK.
We all spend far too much time being hung up on labels for everything in life. |

I had the same thing about whether to put slim or athletic. If I were to describe my body in really life, I wouldn't call myself athletic because it just sounds arrogant AF |

I would clasify as large, but only because it was a description from another site, so I have been conditioned to think that. I like someone who describes themselves as fabulous, we should all try and feel good about ourselves |

Love this as it's so confusing why oh why is it not just size for woman as in 12, 14, 16 as most know this scale. As for men well selections taken. |

Would men in this brave new world provide their waist size? Presumably we all need to add inches to the reported value, rather than the usual subtraction?
For the record, I'm a size 16, 18, L, XL, E, 8 and a few more in between. |

Fabulous - from the word fable meaning both 'unreal' and legendary.
In terms of 'good' it means better than good as in 'you look fabulous'
In terms of 'size' it means larger than lager than large.
In fab terms i'd say it's a polite way of saying someone has a body that is way bigger than the biggest because it is on a list of body sizes. If it was on a list of dress styles like nice, nicer, nicest , fabulous..... then it would mean better than best.

I suppose that in one sense it depends what someone's personal definition of Fabulous is for some a fabulous body may be size 12+ for others it may be 16+ it's each to their own personally if it said Fabulous id check the pics out but in all honesty would be expecting a sexy lady (size 16+) |

The size thing doesn’t work either. Someone who is that size and 4ft 11 yeah could be defined as large. Someone who is a size 16 and 6 ft tall would be nowhere near classed as large never mind fabulous. If I go less than a size 14 I look awful and ill! |

I describe myself as fabulous. Other people will disagree. Our pictures give an accurate idea of how I look so anyone can make their own mind up.
I personally believe that these body types are how we describe ourselves and I didn't want to use average so 🤷♀️ |
