I actually didn't realise it was a word till a while after I started using it , I use to say it when I was all confused and have since found out it means to throw into a state of confusion.

I'm not sure if I heard it but didn't cotton on to it if you get what I mean when I started using it.

And now I've gone and got myself discombobulated trying to explain it.
