Nah it’s really not. I much prefer a guy to have a belly. Too many muscles isn’t nice to cuddle, and men with abs often have awful arrogant personalities |

This is something I agree is the case for many men. The homoeroticism of a lot of things men do is really interesting. Men do lots of things, sexually and non sexually for the approval and appreciation of other men. The gym (for many guys) is no different. They want to look like what is desired- by men.
The phrase ‘Aura’ on social media is the clearest and funniest example of men openly doing this shit. |

My experience is most do not, they prefer athletic / toned or chunky dad bods. I think guys with gym bods imagine it’s what women like |

I like gym bods, I like dad bods. If I'm going just by looks a gym bod does look more aesthetically pleasing, but the whole package is important.
I'm not a massive fan of skinny as I'm scared I'll squash him 🤣
