I’ve thought about this question before. And for a long time.
My conclusion is - I wish I knew. There’s a million things and also nothing in particular.
I think it’s person specific. Maybe. Or hormonal/emotional/situational.
Equally that desire can be quashed in a heartbeat for seemingly no reason.

Others like J Lo just ooze sex. Tbh it's not the perfume or the clothes, some of them could wear a brown sack & make it look sexy. I've always preferred the girl next door types rather than TV people anyway. |

It's unbelievable how much sexual chemistry there is on trains. I regularly get looks & deliberate flicks of hair on the commute to London. Usually because I am dressed smartly.

Big question.
I start getting to know someone, enjoying their company and then there's a little bit of magical pixie dust and it's just there.
All of a sudden my recognition that someone is an attractive person, turns into a felt experience of attraction. It just pops in. It's the things they say, how they say it, but also their mannerisms. Hand gestures, eye contact, touch. Their sense of humour. How they think, explore their ideas and passions.
It has to be nurtured, but the nurturing has to not be for the sake of creating attraction, as that then feels like a game.
Yes my behaviour is affected, I can go from being practically asexual to quite a primal lust. Depends very much on the person and the relationship. |
