For us its a close call between (a) the lappy so could get on here, and (b) the sat-nav that got us to those meets we had far afield...

but winner has to be the lappy

actually in all seriousness best thing i bought this year was tickets to the panto for all the family !!We kept it a secret from the grandkids till an hour before we went which was just so special they were jumping round the house with excitement and you know how hard it is nowadays to make that happen !!..reminded me of the christmasses i had as a child and i got a nice surprise .what made it all the more fun was that id earnt the money from some live art nude modelling work I had done!!! if only they new ..........

best thing I bought was a full scaled down drum kit for my grandson....... I knew I'd get my own back on my daughter for all the traumas she put me through growing up!

dunblane, stirling

an 18 yr old blonde swedish au pair!

though for some reason Aimee was a bit against it, but when I explaned it was allowing cultural growth through interaction with different cultures and affording someone with a chance to come to the UK and further their education I think I sold it! Well that and the fact she had big hooters!

lol

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Epiphone SG Prophecy - sounds as good as it looks.

Second place to the silly, cheap and nasty sounding, but fantastic looking, see through guitar that arrived yesterday

Without a doubt the best thing I bought this year was a room in a Travelodge in Barnsley at the beginning of September so that I could go to my first social. I met some really fantastic people....some of whom I know are going to be friends for the rest of my life (yeah...you all know who you are mwah).

er...guess

I'd been going to suggest it was three fish suppers and some soft drinks shared with a couple of twenty-something redheads at a dogging site outside Glasgow but, now that I think about it, they bought the grub
