Has anyone else seen this movie ?? Its based on the true story of Christopher McCandless, who after graduating college dontates his entire 24k savings to charity and sets of into alaska to become totally self sufficient and live of the land.
It is truly an amazing , emotional and beautifully filmed movie and we would recommend it to anyone !!
So the question is would you have the strength of character to do this ? Be totally alone and isolated ?  |

Yeh it is and the soundtrack by Eddie Veder ( Pearl Jam ) is bloody awesome !!

Yep remember hearing it a few years ago now. Just flicked over the channels and was intrigued, great story line won't spoil the ending for you. Well worth a watch.  |

I know one thing about myself and that is I am not suited to living alone or being alone for long periods of time. I am too much of a people sucker. I admire people who can be this self sufficient. |

Yeh i think we would agree with you lol , the thing that really stands out in this movie and the true story is his ability to be completely alone and shun society and all its foibles, the strength of character to do something like that is truly astounding ! |
