Is nothing sacrosanct?
Last week I read in a morning paper that because of pressure from 'do good' liberals, porn sites access in public places were going to be blocked by the ISP's.
I thought nothing of it until today, there we were sat in our favourite coffee shop. I pulled out the phone to use the in-house free internet and check on Fab. Its been blocked and classified as a porn site!
Who else thinks Fab is a porn site or as we do a social media site for like minded people? |

I think it's naive of any of us to think of dear old Fabs as anything other than adult material. Yes, of course there are threads in the lounge that you could easily show my auntie Mave, but beyond that, would I want my littlun have a chance gander at anyone sat alongside us gawping at a pair of boobies, probably not. You rely on others to have decorum/discretion in what is a public area.
They're only covering their backs.

I cant use fab in pret a manger anymore is blocked. But can in Que Pasa and Wetherspoons. I still make sure where possible no-one, adults as well as kids cant see what im doing. |

i assume that rather than it being called a porn site... you'll fine that it may have been called an adult site.... I tend to fall foul of these if I try to use betting sites while i am out. |

It is a porn site, poeple realky should not be veiwing this site in public anyway.
Saying that though have you seen some poeple social networking sites pages, some of them are worse than here. |

Honestly?
Well as you can view explicit pictures and read explicit text and the site owners won't let people under 18 join I think you could class it as a site of explicit adult nature. With the way so may kids have phones can log into the internet while out and about I don't think its unreasonable to block it myself. After all most adults who have phones can prove their age and take the parental block off and long in that way. |

I can only logon on home WiFi lol my provider classes it as porn ! |

Currently sat in caffe Nero. So the net police aren't everywhere. Thanks for the tip about hiding images. I've got the times open on my lap, looking at Fabs. It's just like being at school. I quite like that 'naughty' element. |

Easy workaround! Call them to have 'adult site access' deristricted - and tell them it's for online gambling!!
Easier than saying its so you can perve!! |
