Gemma Collins(the blonde larger woman from TOWIE) has released an autobiography. Who in their right mind would buy this sort of shit?. I expect it will be in my local 99p store by the end of the year.

I was thinking the same thing. Sadly, it'll probably be number one in sales as her "fans" will lap it up.

i understand that autobiographies are about peoples lives, so why cant these people write them? Admittedly most of them haven't actually been on the planet all that long but still if i had the chance to write down and record my life story so far i guess id take the opportunity

These people whether you like them or not, do indeed have fans/followers who want an insight of that persons life history. Its all part of 'celeb' culture. No one has forced people into buying these books.

Hell i can hardly recall what i did last week let alone 10yrs ago in great detail. So although its not a life long autobiography i guess its a big chapter of one.

in Tom Daleys case he is very young, but trained hard, achieved a lot of his goals and ambitions, suffered bullying, came through school with A* grades and lost his dad.. something i feel a lot of younger people would admire and look up to him for.

So no, i dont believe you can dictate who can and can not write autobiographies. Dont like the person, don't buy the product

hell no... he probably had 20 years and another 4 olympics left in him...

it wont be an autobiography.. it will end up being part 1 of a memoirs....

18 is way too young.. he hasn't had his drug fuelled rock and roll, drinking and womanising years... followed by the redemption!!!
