People do all sorts of odd things on sites like this!
Collect pictures!
Send random friends requests!
Type shouty capitals in profiles about who they're not looking to meet (say for example couples) whilst listing themselves as looking for them!

ooops yes ... bit of a faux pas re the cpls there which will be corrected straight away
as for the caps rant ... a recent addition that did help slow the many unwanted messages we were getting and will be removed when the "newbie" status is removed
