After reading a profile have you ever thought “I need to get this initial message right!” ????
This is my second account and felt this way for months about an account. I’ve chosen not to message for now. Anyone else felt this way? |

I sometimes overthink messages and think to myself, nah this message is rubbish and they won't read it anyway. So I delete and don't bother. I've been biting the bullet lately though, just send a good message, if they reply, great. And if not, not the end of the world. |

I don't often send the first message but when I do, no I don't think I do overthink it.
If there's enough there for me to want to message them first I usually just talk about what it is that appealed about their profile and ask the questions that I would love to know more about. I don't have a huge success rate on reply messages but we're not all for everyone. I'd say just do it. What's the worst that can happen? |
