We all have moods, some positive and some negative and some just meh
How do you handle your moods or do you just go with the flow
Do you hide away, try and lift others around you, take others down, self destruct and pick an argument, do you warn others of your mood especially if it’s one where you don’t feel in “your best place”
For me I remove myself from a situation or a person. |

I have a bit of quiet time if I'm feeling particularly stroppy, and give people a heads-up if necessary. I don't like making my bad mood anyone else's problem. It doesn't happen often and it passes soon enough. |

Before I was put on my anxiety medication I think it was a case of if I was in a mood, everybody knew about it. I was a coiled spring, and it was hard to self regulate.
These days I’m mostly super chilled. I sometimes feel a bit bleurgh but some self care and a cuddle with my dogs and it passes.

Having learned I have ADHD, I've found it much easier to deal with the emotional changes. There are reasons why, not excuses.
I tend to just go quiet for a bit, not fight it and let myself feel whatever is due. Then as I'm coming out of the slump, try to make a positive change as a kickstart for the return to normality. |

I can have some quite down moods because of my hormones, I tend to hibernate in my flat on my own and avoid seeing people when I'm feeling like that. But I know that seeing people can sometimes make me feel better. It's just getting into the right headspace to socialise when I'm feeling down. |
