Following on from a good recommendation on another thread, I’m reaching out to you guys for more. I feel recommendations from strangers are always so different to my friends who shop at the same places and use the same products I do.

What hair/beauty products have you discovered recently and would recommend? What products are you needing recommendations for?

If anyone has any for protecting hair in the winter that would be grand. The heating is drying me out!

I find the "Sulphate 4% Cleanser for Body and Hair" cleanser from The Ordinary™ remarkably brilliant for my sensitive skin.

...oh, and also the unisex "Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser" ('white clay/scrub') by Kiehl's™ is quite inoffensive without stripping my face before I shave.

First aid beauty bump eraser body scrub for smooth smooth skin

+ if you wax their ingrown hair pads are a life saver too

Phlur vanilla skin body mist is my latest fragrance obsession, everything else is getting ignored for it. It’s divine!

The mac locked kiss ink liquid lipsticks if you need a red that is going to hold up well through any activities and fade pretty nicely when it does go hours and hours later.

Of all the things I buy, the best conditioner for me appears to be an Aldi own brand one for long hair. My hairs never felt so strong, smooth and silky. Much less breakage too!

My other new favourite is a glow foundation by Loreal. Better than my Charlotte Tilbury and so light and natural looking

I can't help with hair products 🤣.

I use L'Oréal men expert moisturiser and serum. But isn't helping my tired eye bags. Any suggestions for that I'm all ears.

Superdrug’s Me+ range. Their brightening caffeine eye cream is lovely and they often have that range on 3 for 2 offer. Another is CeraVe eye repair cream!

Garnier hair food for thin hair. Smells delicious and gives you an extra days between washes. I have a lot of hair but it’s very fine so I get pretty greasy very quickly!

I was thinking that when I saw you’d recommend the First aid body scrub whilst I was typing. The lipsticks are amazing aren’t they!

As a masseuse ( in my spare time ) off Amazon

Pure almond oil is a light oil ( edible hence why I tend to use it ) it’s excellent for skin especially legs buttocks and arms

It’s light and adsorbs easy .. BUT make sure you have no allergies first for obvious reasons

“This is thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Almond oil also contains retinol, vitamin E, and vitamin K, which can keep the delicate skin under your eyes smooth without irritating it.”

I quote !

Manchester (she/her)

Hair - check out the Blowout Professor on Youtube. I don't buy all that expensive stuff, but his basic recommendation of shampoo twice, condition, oil on ends and leave in on mids is excellent. On my fine hair I use grapeseed oil, which I buy from bargain massage places because a litre is cheaper than 15ml of the stuff for hair.

Will never not recommend Garnier Hair Food (the mask in a tub). Banana is my go to, but it depends on your hair.

Blue and white tub of Shea moisture for protein, I tend to use about once a month.

Fanola restructuring conditioner mask - Just my look, super cheap, moisturising and a bit of a protein boost.

I recently invested in a body brush - they were flogging off a fancy one on LookFantastic, reduced to a fiver. (If I want the scrub experience, I mix up white sugar, grapeseed oil, and some essential oil - bitter orange is my preference)

Strictly Professional do hand and foot creams which are very cheap for what they are and how much you get - slather them on, cotton gloves/ socks, big improvement.

If you got leprosy you just send your leg away to get scrubbed.

Good point! Daft sod.

I bet there’s someone on this site who would buy extraneous flaky skin. Business opportunity?

Or at least someone on this site who thinks that extraneous flaky skin is the sexiest extraneous skin ever and it must be crazy to not be on the original leg.
